This White-billed Diver showed preposterously well at times on on the Hayle Estuary. Initially the bird was in the channel by Carnsew Basin, before moving into the harbour and finally swimming/getting swept under the bridge onto Copperhouse Creek. Most of these images were taken in the latter area, where the light was better and it was possible to get a nice low angle (albeit getting filthy at the same time).
Photos of this bird (most images up to A4 in size) are available for sale
All images taken with Canon EOS 20D, 500mm IS f4 lens, some with 1.4x converter
