| Red-flanked Bluetail - Minsmere, Suffolk, 14th October 2011 |
| This 1st winter Red-flanked Bluetail showed reasonably well in the sluice bushes at Minsmere, though as ever with this species, sitting still for more than half a second simply seemed beyond it. This is the third Red-flanked Bluetail I've seen in the UK, following one at Skegness in 1999 and one at Thorpeness in 2006.
