Having dipped the Lincs Green Heron a few years ago, a twitchable bird on Anglesey was tempting. After a few problems, I managed to get up there on the Thursday, picking up Stephen Menzie on the way. Thankfully the bird was still present despite initial negative news. After being flushed out of the bushes, the Heron fed for the rest of the day in the creeks around Red Wharf Bay. Photo opportunities were mainly limited to when the bird walked about on the tussocks of grass in between channels, but a few interesting images were captured.
